Message from the Editor-in-Chief
Prof. Dr. Basarab Nicolescu

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Transdisciplinary Journal of Engineering & Science (TJES). As one of the first transdisciplinary journal in the field, TJES was founded and launched in January 2010 as a new forum for the important discoveries resulting from transdisciplinary research and education.

We are very excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of TJES. With this issue of 2020, we would like to invite you to submit specific research and educational accomplishments through Multidisciplinary-Interdisciplinary-Transdisciplinary (MINTRA) studies for possible publication in the TJES. Accepted papers will also be published as a chapter in a book by ATLAS with an ISBN number (www.theatlas.org). We are projecting to publish a number of Special Issues for TJES. We would like to invite proposals from perceived researchers in their research areas. If the proposal is accepted, you will be invited by the Editor-in-Chief to work as the guest editor for your special issue. Your Special Issue will also be published as a book by ATLAS as you being the editor of the book.

We would also like to share with you a brief overview of the growth of the TJES in the past 10 years. TJES is an international Open Access journal published by the Academy of Transdisciplinary Learning & Advanced Studies (ATLAS) with its mission focused on reporting high quality and novel scientific advancements in the field of transdisciplinary research & education.

Now, TJES has Digital Object Identifier (DOI) issued by CrossRef to increase the visibility of the TJES published work. TJES is indexed by Google Scholar and also DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals).

TJES is an Open Access Journal free for readers and with no article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions. The cost of the publications is subsidized by the ATLAS George Kozmetsky Endowment (GKE).

We would like to  thank everyone who has contributed to the Transdisciplinary Journal of Engineering & Science turn out to be what it is today.
