On the 15th of June the SzEEDSM Program Management conducted the Final Dissertation Defense of Kinga Szabó where Ms Szabó successfully defended her dissertation. (Title of the PhD thesis: In Trust, We Thrive and the Platforms We Use: Pillars of and a Case for the Sharing Economy)
The dissertation discusses the topic of sharing economy, which is an umbrella term involving a variety of consumer options. The concept and the definition of sharing economy is not yet fully clarified in the literature and it is still under debate. There is not even an agreement on use of the term “sharing economy.” The current model of the sharing economy has emerged during the last two decades which is based on shared-use of physical or human resources.
