On the 7th of July the SzEEDSM Program Management successfully conducted the Dissertation Defense of Krisztina Kupa. (Title of the PhD thesis: Team development and leadership in virtual teams )
The dissertation focuses on virtual teams from two perspectives. The first is the perspective of the leaders: what are the key challenges and opportunities leaders would face, how these can be tackled to set up and later develop successfully functioning virtual teams. Secondly, the dissertation introduces a case study of a semi-virtual team, which was conducted in 2020 and shows the issues of conflict resolution and team development and at the same time brings the aspect of team maturity to the table.
