On the 8th of September the SzEEDSM Program Management conducted the Final Dissertation Defense of Thomas Ladinig where Mr Ladinig successfully defended his dissertation. (Title of the PhD thesis: Continual Process Improvement Under Causal Ambiguity)
Mr. Ladinig is working as a project manager in body shop manufacturing engineering at Audi de México where I was sent as an expat from Audi Tooling Barcelona. In his research he examines strategic, quantitative, and behavioral factors of continual process improvement in a complex, small-volume, batch production system of a premium car manufacturer’s business unit. He links operations management theories to qualitative and behavioral analyses to increase their applicability and usefulness for practitioners in a multilevel and inter-disciplinary case study at the business unit.
The Committee was pleased by the quality and understandability of the thesis.
