On the 2nd of October the SzEEDSM Program Management conducted the Preliminary Dissertation Defense of Árpád Tóth. Mr. Tóth is a Hungarian Chartered Accountant, Tax Advisor and he is also a member of ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). He works as a lecturer at Széchenyi István University and as a project manager at Széchenyi István University’s Research Center of Vehicle Industry.
His research focuses on Financial Accounting regulation changes regarding the application of IFRS 16 which is expected to affect significantly the lease market according to Mr. Tóth’s research. The Committee and the Opponents both agreed that the topic of the dissertation of Mr. Tóth is relevant and provides important insights for both academics and practitioners.
