On the 21th of September Széchenyi István University’s Doctoral Program in Management started it’s new semester with a two day long workshop. This time our semester opening event was held in Sages’ Castle – House of Knowledge which is located in Budapest’s Castle District.
Our students had the chance to take part also in the reopening ceremony of the in the Old Town Hall building where György Matolcsy, President of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) delivered a speech about the importance of this renovated building as it is planned to be the location of not just the doctoral educations but also guest lectures, workshops and cultural programs.
Our Program Director, Professor Vastag emphasized the uniqueness of our English-taught international PhD degree program and noted the importance of the professional teaching staff including international professors and practitioners who can share a lot of professional knowledge and experience with the students during the doctoral program.
